Top-of-the-line quality controller, the XTX100 is the definitive combination of style, quality and high performance. Having the same features as XTX200  XTX100 thus has outstanding performance. The first stage is machined from a solid piece of marine brass finished in luxurious satin chrome

Features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust System (DCE). This system allows the diver to change from a small exhaust T-shirt to a large exhaust T-shirt. This gives the user a choice, wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and narrow exhaust tee for a less compact, comfortable regulator. The regulator will be supplied with both sets of exhaust tees

Optional 5th port is available with the added bonus of an integrated heat exchanger on Tungsten, XTX200 and XTX100 first stages.

Can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration to a left-handed one. The process of changing the regulator to a left-hand configuration is both quick and simple. However, this procedure MUST only be performed by an APEKS authorized service technician

Braided flexi hoses are now standard on all models. These hoses are lighter, more flexible and more durable

Suitable for cold water use

First phase:

Unique Overbalanced Diaphragm Design - As the diver descends, the overbalancing feature allows the intermediate pressure gas in the tube to rise faster than ambient. This results in superior performance in depth.

2 HP ports and 4 MP ports are angled for optimal hose routing

An environmentally dry system keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice build-up and keeping silt and contamination out

Second phase

Pneumatically balanced second stage results in smooth, easy breathing

The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive cleansing is used. Press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags etc, then press in the center to get the full effect of the purge ie. when the regulator clears etc.

The large venturi handle has a soft touch rubber grip which makes it easier to locate and use. The handle reduces the amount of grain penetration and therefore resists any possible friction, providing smooth operation.

The easy-to-grip opening control button keeps the diver in control

The second stage is made with active protection against infection, as all molded parts are made with an additive that kills MRSA, protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also very effective against viruses, mould, yeast and algae.
