Description
Carbon bottles are the right choice of diving bottle for a lot of different things. the bottles are good both for diving but also for shooting and other activities that require compressed air up to 300 bar. Many people buy a 300 bar carbon cylinder for shooting because it is much easier to handle than the traditional steel diving cylinders; in fact, the weight is more than halved from carbon to steel, so for most it's a good investment.
In relation to diving, in many cases it will primarily be as a stage bottle or as a bailout bottle for a rebreather that a carbon diving bottle comes into its own. This is precisely because the weight is lower, so what you can call the "negative" of the diving bottle is smaller, and that you therefore have to use more lead, which is not necessarily an advantage, and a better distribution of the weight between the diving bottle and lead can be a good idea.
The bottles come in 2 different sizes.
6.8ltr as a stand bottle or for mounting on a rebreather.
12ltr as a stand bottle or as a diving bottle.
All the bottles can be filled to 300 bar. The bottles come with our standard 300bar valve. For rebreathers, they are best chosen with Nautec 232 - 300bars valves. Choose from our dropdown menu above.
