Description
OVERVIEW
Mako Stainless Steel is so compact that you always take it with you on your diving trip. It is thus easy to fasten to your leg or forearm or you can mount it on a BCD. Still, it's big enough that you can keep a good grip on it when you need to use it to cut. MAKO's multi-purpose blade has a serrated edge for sawing through rope, a conventional edge for making clean cuts, a line-cutting notch and a bottle opener. The tanto tip, with its angled shape, is one of the strongest knife tips available, and combined with the different blade edges, the MAKO STAINLESS is an excellent general diving knife.
Characteristic
Manufactured from 304-grade hardened stainless steel provides good resistance to surface oxidation.
Conventional edge easily cuts through numerous materials.
Serrated edge is ideal for sawing through heavier ropes and branches.
Line-cutting notch is capable of handling small ropes and fishing line.
There is a bottle opener for post-dive convenience.
The knife handle provides plenty of grip area as well as a thumb guard to prevent the knife from slipping.
The scabbard's unique locking mechanism allows for one-handed release.
Includes kit for mounting knife on a BCD.
